Herman van der Kooij

Herman van der Kooij (M’07) received the Ph.D. degree with honors (cum laude) from the University of Twente, Enschede, The Netherlands, in 2000.

He is a Professor in biomechatronics and rehabilitation technology at the Department of Biomechanical Engineering, University of Twente, Enschede, The Netherlands, and Delft University of Technology, Delft, The Netherlands. His expertise and interests are in the field of human motor control, adaptation, and learning, rehabilitation robots, diagnostic, and assistive robotics, virtual reality, rehabilitation medicine, and neuro-computational modelling.
