Bart Nienhuis

Bart Nienhuis is a biomechanical engineer, working at the Research Department of the Sint Maartenskliniek, Nijmegen, The Netherlands, for more than 20 years as researcher, Head of the gait laboratory and as research manager. He was involved in the development of body weight supported treadmill training and has experience with the use of and research on the Lokomat gait trainer robot. Due to this expertise he was closely involved in the development of the LOPES I and LOPES II and brain–computer interface research.
