Dingguo Zhang

Dingguo Zhang (M’07–SM’14) received the bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Jilin University, Changchun, China, in 2000, the master’s degree in control engineering from the Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, in 2002, and the Ph.D. degree from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 2007. From 2006 to 2007, he was a Research Fellow with Nanyang Technological University. In 2008, he was a Post-Doctoral Fellow with LIRMM, CNRS, France. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Institute of Robotics, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China. His research interests include human–machine systems, rehabilitation technologies, and biomechatronics.

Dr. Zhang is a Board Member of IFESS, a Youth Commission Member of ISBE, and a member of EMBS, RAS, and SMC. He serves in three technical committees of EMBS and SMC. He was a recipient of the Delsys Prize 2011 (USA). He is an Associate Editor (or an Editorial Board Member) of four journals: the IEEE ACCESS, the IEEE TRANSACTIONS on HUMAN-MACHINE SYSTEMS, PLOS One, and Scientific Reports. He is a Topic Editor of Frontiers in Neuroscience.
