Jacopo Carpaneto

Jacopo Carpaneto received the M.Sc. degree in electronic engineering from the University of Pisa, Pisa, Italy, in 2000, and the Ph.D. degree in robotics from the University of Genova, Genova, Italy, in 2005.

He is a Senior Scientist at the Translational Neural Engineering Lab of the BioRobotics Institute, Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, Pisa, where he is involved in several EU-funded research projects on neuroprosthetics and rehabilitation engineering. His research interests are focused on the development of neuroprosthetic systems and on the processing of peripheral and central nervous system signals.
