Jacques Duysens

Jacques Duysens received the M.D. degree from KU-Leuven, Leuven, Belgium, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Alberta, Edmonton, AB, Canada.

He is Full Professor Emeritus at FABER in KU-Leuven, Leuven, Belgium. He has worked at the National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, MD, USA, and was appointed Professor at the Biophysics and later at the Rehabilitation Department, Radboud University, Nijmegen, The Netherlands. He also held a joint appointment at the Sint Maartenskliniek, Nijmegen, The Netherlands, where he was Head of the research division. Part of his current activity is in Brazil (CNPq grant). He is an editorial board member on three international journals in the field of motor control and gait.
